Nicholas Steinmetz is a visual artist, illustrator, and graphic designer. He has a degree in Graphic Design from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná.
During his academic studies, he developed an artistic language that reflects personal questions such as trans identity, Judaism, gender, and masculinity. This intersection of themes allows his work, to this day, to explore delicate and subjective questions through mediums such as printmaking, drawing, and painting.
His artistic production also includes the making of zines and comic books. His graphic narratives take on themes such as Jewish and transmasculine identity, as well as everyday experiences.
Nicholas Steinmetz was a grantee from the exchange program Emerging Leaders of America (ELAP), in London (England) and Ontario (Canada).
