Rio de Janeiro – RJ, 2000
Non-binary trans, multi-artist, and future tattoo artist, Kurt Celjar is a BA student in Social Sciences at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
The practice of drawing has always been present in their life, but it was starting in 2019 that they began to dedicate themselves to digital art and lettering. “My style is Ignorant Art Style: simple lines, in black and white, and with the charm of homemade”, says Kurt.
In 2020, they were part of the Festival Bi+ (Frente Bissexual Brasileira) [Brazilian Bisexual Front] in the section Transformarte: Bate-papo sobre Multiartes [Transformart: Conversations about multi-arts] and of the Festival Digital de Artes LGBTI+ (It Gets Better – Brasil) [LGBTI+ Digital Arts Festival (It Gets Better – Brazil)] with illustrations about trajectories of identification and visibility.
